In recent years, demand for small and complex precision components has been increasing in fields such as the medical industry and other precision manufacturing sectors. As a result, there is a strong need to achieve high productivity within limited floor space.
To meet these market demands, the JX-50 has been developed as a new product that combines compact size and high speed, while being a tool spindle machine capable of simultaneous 5-axis machining.​

Space-Saving Compact Design

The machine has a compact footprint of 3,000 × 2,000 mm (4,264.4 × 2,378 mm including the chip tank and conveyor), making it highly space-efficient for a multitasking machine with a lower turret. Its design enables installation in limited space while maintaining high productivity, allowing greater flexibility in factory layout and production planning.

Up to 119 Tools Installable
Supports High-Mix, Low-Volume Production

The machine features an ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) system with tools stored in an integrated magazine. The standard configuration accommodates 60 tools and can be expanded to 119 tools (optional).
The vertically arranged additional magazine increases tool capacity without enlarging the machine footprint, maximizing productivity and floor space efficiency.

Enhanced Machining Flexibility with X-Axis on R-Spindle

It features an opposed twin-spindle configuration with an upper tool spindle and a lower turret. The added X-axis travel on the right spindle enables simultaneous machining on both sides without interference. This allows for more efficient and flexible process planning while supporting advanced machining needs and expanding overall capabilities.

It also achieves an impressive chip-to-chip time of just 3.3 seconds.

Software for Dramatically Shorter Cycle Time

The control panel can be swiveled and repositioned, allowing operators to work from the most comfortable and efficient position. It can also be moved close to the ATC magazine, enabling quick and easy tool setup.

Reducing physical strain on the operator

The distance from the front of the machine to the spindle center is kept to just 450 mm, ensuring easy access to the work area while reducing operator fatigue. A wide range of optional equipment is available, including automatic and manual tool setters as well as a remnant ejector, enabling flexible configurations to meet diverse production requirements.
